How much will it cost to have an estate plan prepared?

The attorney will discuss all fees and costs at your first appointment. Our estate plans are typically done on a flat fee basis that is determined after we learn about your situation, goals, and types of assets. The flat fee reflects the complexity involved, the skill required of the attorney to accomplish your goals, and the effort required to align your assets with your plan. We handle both will-based estate plans and trust-based estate plans, which means we can work with everyone from a young single person with few assets to established business owners and farmers. In all situations, your attorney will discuss your needs and goals to make a plan that is right for you.  To ensure there are no surprise invoices, your estate planning fee is paid in full prior to your attorney drafting your documents.
