Elijah hails from a small town in Eastern Iowa. His hometown Solon is famous for the yearly haybale toss at the town festival, Beef Days. Growing up in a rural setting and with a large farming family spread throughout Iowa it has always been his goal to support farms, families and small businesses in his career. He lived and worked in Rochester before attending law school, working in the laboratories of Mayo Clinic. Returning to Minnesota he enjoys biking the Douglas Trail, weight training early in the morning, fishing in Red Wing and Whitewater, and painting to keep his creativity sharp. Missing life on the farm, Elijah has never been able to stop doing some form of physical labor and tries to volunteer at least once a month with Habitat for Humanity. Allowing him to continually build his community and work with his hands.
