John Oelke (pronounced "Ole-key") practices law with the firm of Wagner Oehler, Ltd., which was founded in 1973 in Rochester, Minnesota. The firm has offices in Rochester, St. Charles, Winona, and Lake City. John’s practice areas include estate planning, business law and probate and trust administration.
Mr. Oelke received his Juris Doctor degree from the Creighton University School of Law in 2021, and his B.B.A. in Finance, from the University of North Dakota. John is active in civic and professional organizations, including the North Dakota 4-H Foundation, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the North Dakota State Bar Association.
Outside of work John enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. One of their favorite activities is to go hiking at the state parks around Minnesota and North Dakota. John grew up on a small sheep farm in West Central Minnesota, where he participated in 4-H with his entire family. His family has trophies from when his great-grandfather won at some of the earliest Minnesota State Fairs.
