Alec S. Osland is an attorney at Wagner Oehler, Ltd. Alec’s practice areas include real estate title and closing services, estate planning, agricultural law, business law, and probate and trust administration. Alec grew up on a farm in Iowa and he is passionate about helping farmers with their agriculture law, estate planning, and real estate matters.
Alec graduated from the University of Iowa with a major in psychology and a minor in Latin. In 2019, he earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School with certificates in food and agricultural law, environmental and sustainability, and public service. At Drake University Law School, Alec was Vice President of Class Student Government and Secretary of Drake Environmental and Agricultural Law Association. Alec was also a Student-Attorney in Drake’s Elder Law Clinic.
Alec volunteers with Elder Network (Vice President of the Board of Directors) and Legal Assistance of Olmsted County’s Volunteer Attorney Program (Financial Clinic). He is a member of the Third Judicial District Bar Association (Past President) and Rochester Host Lions Club (Board Member).
Alec enjoys spending time with his wife and son, hunting, fishing, camping, playing pool, and being outdoors.
While attending law school, he played semi-pro baseball during the summers!
